| Hey all. Its been a while since my last update. I am going to be preaching this Sunday at church. So what? The reason I mention it is because I've been thinking a lot about brokeness lately. All too often we view brokeness as something negative. None of us, if we're honest with ourselves, like the experience of tough times. We all if given the choice would take the mountain top over the valley anytime. But think about this...because Jesus was broken we are blessed. Through his brokeness we reap the benifit of blessing. Take a look back on your own journey and think about times when you have experienced brokeness. When I look back I can see the blessing in those times. Many times God has broken me to take me to a higher level. Many of you are struggling right now. Why not let God have your brokeness so you can be blessed? | | |
| I know, I know. An update has long been overdue. I've been thinking about how complacent we get in our relationship with Christ. We get so comfortable with where we are that we forget that we have an amazing opportunity to grow. Maybe somewhere in our subconscious we are afraid to grow, because if we grow, we have to make changes in our lives. Growth sparks change and sometimes we get so set in our ways that we don't want to change. Growth also means that we may have to admit we're wrong about something or that something in our own spiritual journey isn't right. My prayer is that I would never become so comfortable in my spiritual walk that I'm content with where I am. May you all be in a place where you are growing and "evolving" into new creations. Love ya all........B | | |
| Havent updated in a while. Just wanted you all to know that the knee is doing well, and things are progressing faster than doctors or physical therapist anticipated. God is faithful! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. Love ya....B | | |
| Hey all... My knee is getting progressivly better. It's just gonna take a long time to fully recover and as most of you who know me, patience is not one of my strong points. So keep me in prayer. I can't wait to get "back in the saddle again". Love ya all---B | | |
| Hey all...so good to hear from so many of you during this time of recovery. I am doing so much better. Surgery went well and the doctors and physical therapists say I am progressing well. Thanks again for all the prayers and support. I'm glad convention was good. I prayed for all of you often throughout the weekend. I would challenge all of you to take what you learned through that experience and apply it to your spiritual lives. Continue to walk in the light and allow Him to shine through you. Hoping to see you all very soon. I love ya....Bryan | | |
